What a long marriage they had, and apparently a happy one. And the Queen will be turning 95 this month... longest-reigning monarch in world history.

I just remembered, there's a cargo cult on one of the islands of Vanuatu in the Pacific that essentially reveres Prince Philip as a deity. I wonder how the people in that village are going to take the news.

Fascinating. And yes, this is the first I've heard about cargo cults. I guess they'll deal with it the same way the Rastafarians handled the death of Haile Selassie.

I'd not heard of cargo cults, either. Fascinating, indeed. By the way, the Wikipedia article has now been updated to include the reactions to Prince Philip's passing.
