Yes, very sad news. She was the last living link to a part of history that we love.

Wow, almost a year! What a long life she had, and still had fans up til her death.

Wonder what happened with her interment. Presumably she's ended up somewhere by now, but her estate was raising funds for her to be buried a few miles from St. Junipero Serra.
