An Idahoan flapper. The date given is 1922. Note the rolled stockings and fashionable headwear!

I ran across this rather odd and beguiling photo somewhere. I've not been able to learn any meaningful information about who these interesting looking people are or why they're in a tree house. :)

Some friends of mine are the parents of one of the creators of Shorpy, and many years ago they brought me back some cool copies of some photos from the site after a visit. One of them is another shot of that treehouse trip! It's on my wall in my old house. I'll take a pic when I go back to move some stuff.
