The first part of my book Jolly Jokes for Fun Loving Folks is a mildly amusing 4 page poem in German accent in Wilhelm II point of view.
Skipping that, this is the first joke.
Taking A Boat Ride
A young couple went out on the lake in a sailboat to have a pleasant time, and while out it became perfectly calm; the boat didn't move.
"Why," she said, "there isn't a bit of air stirring." --- "Then, why don't you whistle," said he, "that will stir some it it." --- "Oh, I'm afraid to!" --- "How is that?" --- "What would you do to me if I got my mouth all puckered up ready to whistle?" --- "I wouldn't do a thing to you." --- "Then I won't whistle."
