The Ray Bradbury Theater

Post by Kitty »

I watched an episode from 1990 today. It was called The Long Years where a family is stranded on Mars after they miss the order to evacuate. After 20 years a rocket comes to rescue them, but the astronauts notice something strange. The man has grown older, but his wife and children have stayed the same age.
I liked the idea, but it's weird that they show Mars with a breathable atmosphere.

Sounds like a chapter from The Martian Chronicles. Those stories were all premised on Mars’ being habitable.

I've read October Country and some Illustrated Man. I love Ray Bradbury!
