The genuine concern that Roger has for his sister is actually pretty touching.
It's nice to see Joan Bennett acting, really acting.
"Tears are only good for watering cabbages"? That's a new one!
I hope this is a big wakeup call that Carolyn has needed all this time. Probably not.
Oh, man, that poor Carolyn. She is so far deep in love with Burke. He shouldn't have let it go so far.
Oooo! The ending of that one was scary!!

Funny, Roger is dressed to the nines and it's supposed to be - what? 6am?
Josette is being a real helper lately! Keep it up, girl!
Boy, this is getting complicated! We have a Stockbridge, a Radcliffe, the mystery woman, and the Collins! So many Laura's, so little time!

What's wrong with that doctor? He's never seen anyone have an episode with memory loss? I mean, maybe she hit her head when she fell down the steps. Oh, and I don't believe for one moment that she's in "perfect shape" as he puts it. She doesn't do anything. In fact, she's probably pretty out of shape!
Yikes! I sure hope Laura doesn't get to Carolyn after all this.

Joan Bennett is really amazing in this episode. Yeah, she's catatonic, but she doesn't blink when he claps in her face, and she keeps her eyes as open and the same expression the whole time.

I love the way Carolyn has her hair at the dining table in this episode!
Dr. Guthrie kind of looks like he either doesn't want to be in the house or is suffering from constipation.

Nope, just lots of ghosts! Lots of ghosts of the family, not mine, and not the Collins. They all were young or children, and died in weird ways. Come to think of it, I had a dream a couple weeks ago that I was in a family where the dad got a job where he was cleaning up some old run down graveyard, and we got to keep stuff we found. That was a cool one, too. Lots of antiques.
I don't know why, but earrings are always distracting to me. They are so yuck, in my opinion. Not sure why I feel that way.
I’m not specially fond of seeing them, either, though often I don’t really notice them unless they’re especially large or attention-grabbing in some way. And Vicky doesn’t look good in earrings to me. They don't seem to suit her, somehow.
Isn't it so sad, realizing that Laura, Roger, and David must have been happy together in one house at some point? This thought hit me when they talked about the cocker spaniel that they called 'Dog' because that's what David called him.
I hadn’t really thought about that, but I guess that would have been true, though hard to imagine.
Even through everything negative I've been saying about Laura, I really love the dress she is wearing in this episode with the frills around the neck and the wrists.
I thought that was some kind of housecoat, or something. (Shows what I know.)
Yes, I was just getting ready to comment that Mrs. Johnson must have fallen into a black hole. (Not that I’d have minded too much—not crazy about that character. )
Notice that Pop's bandages keep getting smaller and smaller.... You can see most of his fingers now. He could totally paint now!!
I feel like Vicky needs to tell the psychologist what she discovered at the crypt place....
I was just wondering... Who buttons Sam's shirts while his hands are healing? And why in the world would he keep the burned painting!?
I was just thinking, it sure seems like Burke feels about Laura the same way that Carolyn feels about him!

Did you noticed that all the while that Roger was giving his wordy speech, (no idea what he was saying there! ) he was not looking at all at the girls, but most certainly off stage at the cue cards where his speech was written?
Thought just hit me --- is Laura sleeping in Smelly Old Matthew's bed?
Ever since you told me that they never have more than six characters in an episode, I have been counting the characters when I realize someone hasn't been shown in a while.

It's funny how everyone gets fully dressed just to hang around the house all day. I don't know about you, but when I'm home, I usually get into my pajamas and stay that way for the rest of the day until I have to go out again.

Joe! And Carolyn seems pleased to see him.
Maggie and Joe are a really cute couple.
Weird, as it was fading out after Maggie blew out the match, Sam was saying something. Cut scene?

I wish you could see the chalkboard parts that I see in the beginning of each episode. Some are super cute. The one in the beginning of this one had Alexandra Moltke smiling big and waving at the camera while holding the chalkboard.

Roger is significantly dressed down today! He's beginning to think something's up with Laura. You know what's kind of weird? They both technically have custody of David. After all, they're not even divorced. What's actually stopping Laura from kidnapping him, tricking David into thinking that she'd talked to Roger about taking him on some kind of trip?
Carolyn is being so stupid right now. Wonder what it's like to love confrontation?
I like that line and how Carolyn delivers it --- It's funny how the weather changes. Isn't it funny?
There's a different announcer in this episode, btw.
