Actually, I think they settled for keeping the monkeys from climbing up into the rafters during a scene.

The Flag: A Story Inspired by the Tradition of Betsy Ross (1927) is the (mythological) story about Betsy Ross, whose name has been solidified into American history by a fib that was told by her grandson 100 years later. Either way, here it is, in color, starring Francis X. Bushman.
