Ok, I’ve finally got it: Thomas Meighan. :D Yeah, beached. I could have sworn I’d never watched any silent film where someone was beached. But I had. And just recently. Oh, well, slow and steady wins the race.

Correct!! :db:

He was beached in Why Change Your Wife?, a title that also asks a question, and was one of several films that paired him with iconic Gloria Swanson, which tended to be marital/social dramas.

Your turn!

No, he was beached in Male and Female. I'm not gonna edit that post again, and you guys get my point

Ok, I'm going to try something different, i.e., a non-celebrity one. You probably don't know this gentleman by appearance, but you certainly know his name. In fact, there's a chance you may even be wearing something right now he's connected with.

Levi's? Is it Levi Strauss?

I can never think of Levis without thinking of that commercial Jefferson Airplane did in 1967 for white Levi's:

Now that's an interesting one! :) I'll have to give that another listen tomorrow when I'm not so sleepy.

  That's hilarious. That wasn't my intention, however (and I'm not knocking her vocal talents) once you've heard Grace Slick do her Eastern inspired wail, I think it's safe to say you've heard her in everything 😂

Hm, who to choose... okay, here's a future silent actress :) She was a really big star. You've definitely heard of her.
