Re: Instructional Videos/Social Guidance Films

I don't think the discouragement of lefthandedness really was so prominent as we have been led to believe. Did they really do that?? That seems awfully strange, seeing that it’s a natural physiological trait that people are born with. I've heard multiple times from older people that they use...

Re: Great Cartoons

One of my favorite of the Ub Iwerks cartoons, Dick Whittington's Cat . (Not sure sure of the exact year, but early '30's. The music is great in this one, and you'll like the cat. :) Nice one! Re: Instructional Videos/Social Guidance Films

Here's a cute 1940s film called Tommy. It's in color! I like the idea that being part a family is like being part of a team. I think that is a great thing to teach a child, and it's inspiring to adults, too! I felt a little uncomfortable at the flippant and cheerful way the announcer says that by go...

Re: Instructional Videos/Social Guidance Films

I liked this video. It's called Everyday Courtesy, 2nd Edition (1967) Is it really necessary to be so specific in the acceptance to the invitation? Also, this doesn't cover what to say if you don't want to tell your friend why you can't be there, but the friend asks why. You can't very well say "I d...

Ah, that's a great one! :D It's Erich von Stroheim and his daddy. :he:

Actually it's Erich von Stroheim and Boris Karloff. :)
