I thought this was lovely. As a bonus, the bottom left is a cool ad for greeting cards you can hand paint, and an ad about the education of... What else? WIRE!

I love the art deco design of some of the steam locomotives of the '40's era. They recently renovated one of these engines, and there is a video of it arriving in Roanoke, Va., to the cheers of a large crowd: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ni-nUyETZzI

I really like this type of stylized character drawing that you so often see in early '60's illustrations. Something cheerful and friendly about it that puts you in a good mood. :-)

It's cool. Some 60s cartoons were like that, too.
