I'm watching a What's My Line episode, and Victor Borge is on the panel. He's very funny! He sort of has the charm, in my opinion, of Fred Allen.

You trying to tell me you didn't hear that shriek? That was something trying to get out of its premature grave, and I don't want to be here when it does. - Phantom of the Paradise (1974)
Re: What's My Line?
I think I watched this episode awhile back. I LOVE Victor Borge. He's one of my favorites of all times. Have you seen any of his stage routines? There are lots of them on YouTube.
Re: What's My Line?
I really don't know much about him besides the name. When I have time, I'll look him up on YouTube. In the meantime, if you want to create a thread and drop some of your favorite routines in there, I'd appreciate it!!

Re: What's My Line?
I was trying to find a good quality clip of the page turner routine, but they're all blurry and subtitled. I'll see what I can find.
Re: What's My Line?
The routine I was referring to starts at around 22:00. The following routine with Marilyn Mulvey is great, too. But watch the whole thing sometime if you can. He's hilarious.
