Maybe it's because I'm so tired, but this song made me so happy, I cried!! It really makes you get up and move!! This is Big Chief Battle Axe by Graeme Bell's Australian Jazz Band. 1948. Sounds older, doesn't it? Dig that crazy vibe, man!

You trying to tell me you didn't hear that shriek? That was something trying to get out of its premature grave, and I don't want to be here when it does. - Phantom of the Paradise (1974)

Yeah, that's a good-un! :D Yes, hard to believe that's '48. Sounds 20 years earlier.

Ok, while you're hopped up on that, check this out:

A Hundred Years From Today by Jack Teagarden. This song is actually pretty relaxing when I get anxious about things that really don't matter. ☺️

That's a good one! Good beat, nice voice and arrangement on that one, too.

I love that voice, too! That's one of the ones that I like to listen to in the morning. It still seems so fresh after all these decades.

I LOVE this song as sung by Eddie Cantor. I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself A Letter.

That’s a good one. I’ve never heard Cantor’s version. Nice instrumental arrangement behind him too.
