Addams Family
Addams Family
When I was little I watched the Adams Family all the time. I thought they were an amazing family. This picture came up today so I wanted to share it and see if anyone else loves/loved the Adams Family.
The little girl is precious and unique but Morticia omg I thought she was the most beautiful lady ever lol. She was also a very strong willed woman who seemed to just do her own thing and enjoyed it without worrying about looking weird or being different. When I grew up i wanted to be just like her lol
Who was your favorite character on the Adams Family?

Re: Adams Family
I loved the Addams family, too (and also The Munsters!). Yes, Carolyn Jones as Morticia was very nice to look with that long dark hair. Gomez got on my nerves a little at times, but was still likable. I guess my favorite character, though, was Uncle Fester.
Re: Adams Family
You know, I have only seen an episode or two of The Addams Family. What I know about them comes from the movies. I liked Wednesday and Morticia in the movies. Morticia was by far the best from what I saw in the show. I liked the whole cast in the movies, but in the show, Gomez was a very stiff actor in my opinion, and Pugsley was just creepy, (but was that the point?).
I thought Morticia was very stylish, and thought she was beautiful, as well. Fester in the show was gross... I already liked Christopher Lloyd, so I was ok with him in that.
I watched the Munsters a lot, because that was on TV Land back in the day. Good ol' TV Land. That used to be a great channel.

You trying to tell me you didn't hear that shriek? That was something trying to get out of its premature grave, and I don't want to be here when it does. - Phantom of the Paradise (1974)
Re: Adams Family
Yes, and before that, there was Nick at Nite, which showed good things like The Donna Reed Show, My Three Sons, Mr. Ed, Private Secretary, and many other kinds of things that TV Land later showed.
Re: Adams Family
Yes. Nick at Nite was the reason I have seen so many Happy Days episodes. My sister liked Dragnet.

Yeah, I forgot about Dragnet! I love that show, and also Adam-12.

Re: Addams Family
I loved The Addams Family as a kid, when it was prime time TV no less. Anyway my favorite characters were Lurch and Thing. And I also liked Gomez a lot. But I did like everybody on the show.
The Munsters was great too, maybe better, hard for me to say, but the cast of The Munsters was top drawer too.
Yvonne De Carlo as Lilly, come on, what a class act. But for me Al Lewis as Grandpa was the show stopper and Fred Gwynne was born to play Herman Munster.

We didn't need dialogue. We had faces!
