Orson Bean passed away from an accident today at the age of 91. He was stuck by a car near his home in Venice, CA.
He was one of my all time favorites from the old game shows. Besides being a long-time panelist on To Tell the Truth, he was also active in film and on stage, as well as being a comedian, writer, and producer. RIP, Orson.
RIP Orson Bean
Re: RIP Orson Bean
It's really messed up that he ended up dying this way. He was struck by a car and then after he fell, he was hit by another.
You trying to tell me you didn't hear that shriek? That was something trying to get out of its premature grave, and I don't want to be here when it does. - Phantom of the Paradise (1974)

I have to chime in on this too. It's bad enough he died but what a way to go, absolutely horrible. He was such a brilliant funny man.
We didn't need dialogue. We had faces!
