That does make you think! We take for granted the ability to go back and visit history, but how new and exciting it must have seemed then.

This is a well-written little poem that was submitted and printed in the October 1912 Motion Picture Story Magazine.

I love that! I get the idea Roy kind of liked Florence.
I love the first two lines. Not so sure about "Comedy, melo, or farce, are her sheen;" though.

Yes, they really did put those actors on a pedestal, like they were perfect angel-like creatures that could do no wrong and are amazing in everything. I'm sure when the actors read them, they were in amazement. I bet a lot of them made them laugh a little

Yes, I remember reading in the biography of Theda how astonished she was to see what they wrote about her, and how much fun she had reading it.
