This is in a magazine I found in an antique shop. The magazine is American Childhood, December 1949 edition. "The Modern Magazine for Primary Teachers".

That's really interesting to see the creative process, isn't it? It's amazing how the rough sketch is a thing of beauty in
itself and how it already has all the vital elements in distilled form.

A bit of a weird ad, as it was published 2 days after Thanksgiving in 1929. Interestingly, Thanksgiving was also on November 28th in 1929, 90 years ago. As a bonus, I'll post a photo of Captain Nemo, a float that was in the parade on November 28th, 1929.

It's REALLY weird, but he's supposed to be a protein. I love this ad!
