You trying to tell me you didn't hear that shriek? That was something trying to get out of its premature grave, and I don't want to be here when it does. - Phantom of the Paradise (1974)
Re: Magazine Ads
This one's cool. Notice the reflection on the window.

Re: Magazine Ads
I saw that one a while back on a Facebook page, and everyone was commenting about how creepy it is. I guess you could see it that way, but I'm not sure it would have occurred to me. I'm guessing it wouldn't have to people in 1962 would have, either.
Re: Magazine Ads
I found it on the Why Did Vintage Advertisers Make Kids Look So Damn Creepy?! Facebook page. Some people commented silly narratives about it being a peeping Tom up there, and for some reason they said the reflection is creepy. I rarely think anything like this is creepy.

This actually sounds pretty good. Might try it some time. I wonder if Walter actually drank it?

Re: Magazine Ads
What the...hmm, I think they're using the ginger ale as a mixer, at least the girl standing. And uh...what is that draped around her neck??
Re: Magazine Ads
It's a pretty weird one, isn't it? That's a fox around her neck.
