Freaks was a fantastic movie for many reasons.
Looking at this poster, I was very surprised to see the word 'Publix' on the bottom left corner of the ad. I was surprised because Publix is a chain of grocery stores in Florida!
Googling, I found out that Publix grocery nicked its name from the theater chain that had multiple locations throughout Florida, thought the company had its headquarters in NY. Read about it here!

Wow, what an ad! 
That's really interesting about Publix. There are Publix stores around here, too, though not probably as many as in Florida (good supermarket, too!) How about that photo of the interior of the Tampa theatre?
