The Show of Shows (Clip)

Post by donnie »

This is from the early sound feature-length film The Show of Shows (1929), which was kind of like a variety collection of acts, I gather. I really like this little routine and the people involved, especially Beatrice Lillie. I wasn't familiar with Frank Fay. :D Tip: You have to watch it until the end. ;)

 Thanks for sharing! These all star musical revues were really popular in the early days of talkies, especially 1929 - 1930. The only one I've seen in its entirety was King of Jazz (1930).
