I'm excited about tonight's show! It's the original Frankenstein!

A couple weeks ago was Creature with the Atom Brain (1955). Here are some lobby cards.

Don't we all have brains made of atoms? Or his just has one, maybe? :)

Well, the movie didn't make much sense, so your guess is as good as mine. 😁

It's The Blob (1958) tonight! Has anyone here seen it?

I think I may have a long time ago—can't remember much about it.

I have a mental image of this scene: two men are outside and find a small blob of gelatinous looking stuff on the ground. One reaches down with a stick and picks it up. It starts running down the stick toward his hand, so he inverts it. But it defies gravity and keeps running up the stick and ends up attacking him.

That's all I remember. Maybe I just saw that one scene or something. Tell me if that was indeed from The Blob.

Yup, that's right, but it's just one old guy. That's an early scene. He finds an egg like thing and pokes at it. Then what you describe happens.

Tonight he features the newly restored Mystery of the Wax Museum (1933). It was the last film made in two strip technicolor.
