I'm sharing this Chilly Willy cartoon from 1958 especially for the spot that starts around 3:38. The spoofs of commercials tickled me.

Ok, I skipped straight to the commercials part. Now I have to go back and figure out why the bear--or is it a dog?--why the dog/bear is watching Chilly Willy on a monitor.

I noticed on the junky car the saying "Oh you kid". That must have been a slang phrase from the 20's, along with "23 Skidoo".

This one was shown in black and white, though I found it in color on Daily Motion.

"Puttin' on the Act" shows Popeye and Olive Oyl doing vaudeville routines. It features interesting impressions of famous vaudeville stars, which is always fun.
