You trying to tell me you didn't hear that shriek? That was something trying to get out of its premature grave, and I don't want to be here when it does. - Phantom of the Paradise (1974)
Re: Max Fleischer
Pudgy is featured in this fun Betty Boop cartoon called More Pep (1936)

Betty Boop in Is My Palm Read - this is a very risque Betty Boop short. I was pretty surprised! I mean, I knew she was always portrayed as sexy, but I had never seen one like this.

Well the whole baby thing 'naked truth' with her full sized woman head was pretty creepy, and the part where the ocean slaps her butt when she gets washed on shore. She even says keep your hands to yourself. Those are just two that I can remember offhand.

A very cute and interesting Betty Boop cartoon called So Does An Automobile from 1939. She looks like she's 6 feet tall in this one!
Betty runs an auto hospital. I love the puns in this one. I also love that so many of her cartoons have songs!

Re: Max Fleischer
That's a good one!
I love the automobiles. That was very imaginative, the way they were personified.
I noticed that the aspect ratio of this cartoon was unusual, in that the picture was almost completely square. I wonder if the sides had been cropped.

May have been. I watched this on Toon In With Me. The YouTube video may have been cropped.
