Silent Film 101 - Updates & Feedback
This thread will serve as the place for any feedback (suggestions, questions, criticism, etc.) on the Silent Film 101 project. This is also where I'll post updates concerning this section. Unlike the other threads here, this one isn't locked to replies. Post away!

Re: Silent Film 101 - Suggestions & Feedback
Just wanted to say that this is looking pretty good! Can't wait to see more added!
I actually learned something already. I didn't know that Bronson was hand picked by Peter Pan author James Barrie to star in the film!

Re: Silent Film 101 - Updates & Feedback
After realizing just how long-term this was going to be, I made the decision to widen the scope of this thread; it will now include updates concerning the status of the 101 section. The actor, actress and director threads will easily take months, I think, so they'll not have as much priority as the Tech thread and some more upcoming threads.

Re: Silent Film 101 - Updates & Feedback
Thank you! That was probably the most difficult one I've written up so far. I wasn't expecting quite that much research, but got humbled pretty quickly.

Re: Silent Film 101 - Updates & Feedback
Betty Lou's To-Do List:
- Finish writing up the In The Lab page in Techniques and Technology
- Finish writing up post for new watchfest (yes, after long last)
- Add new bios to actors and directors threads - hopefully try to maintain at least one each every week

Re: Silent Film 101 - Updates & Feedback
I'm almost done with the second part of the In The Lab page. Though it's ready to be released, there's still more topics that can be added. Thing is I don't know if I should just post it as is, or delay it so I can add more.

Why don't you go ahead and post what you have and revise later as needed?BettyLouSpence wrote: ↑Sat Jul 23, 2022 7:57 pmI'm almost done with the second part of the In The Lab page.
