I didn't know that. I like Don Knotts a lot, loved him as Barney Fife. He was even on Matlock, atleast for a few episodes as Ben's friend and neighbor.
He looked a bit like Frank Sinatra in that picture with his dummy.
On another note, my husband and I think now during the pandemic, with us wearing masks, it would be a great time to take up ventriloquism.
