I wish my life was a non-stop Hollywood movie show
a fantasy world of celluloid villains and heroes
Because celluloid heroes never feel any pain
and celluloid heroes never really die...

I liked Her Smile, the way the Dutch named it.

You trying to tell me you didn't hear that shriek? That was something trying to get out of its premature grave, and I don't want to be here when it does. - Phantom of the Paradise (1974)

I’ve finished Tess of the Storm Country. This is a great story, and a wonderful Mary Pickford vehicle. :D Unfortunately, the score is very problematic in some spots, though overall, it’s good. The image quality has some problems also early on (but improves). (And yes, Betty Lou, it has tints. :) )

I’ll wait and let you guys catch up before I proceed past this one. Meanwhile, if I get time, I may tinker with the score some in a few bad spots.

Edit: Score reworked. I’ll send an updated link!

Back to the subject on hand, the film was good, and I'd recommend it to any adventure/Valentino fan out there.
