Well, here it is: our final film of the 1920/2020 Forum Watch-Fest, Excuse My Dust, starring Wallace Reid.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UMcAPPvD_qo

Time slot to watch ends next Monday night, June 29th.

It's been great fun these past couple months. But don't worry; this won't be the only watch-fest we have. I've got quite a few themes up my sleeve, and in fact have another planned very, very soon. Stay tuned!

I love doing this! It's so fun to discuss these movies! Thanks so much for this idea. :D

Interesting. Seems like an old timey type of thinking.... Apparently intelligence was a turn off, and if glasses signified intelligence, I could kind of understand how it could be subconsciously unattractive.
I don't really think that this is so much a thing anymore, though. What do you think?

https://psycnet.apa.org/record/2011-25919-005 Basically it says that glasses are associated with both intelligence and being unattractive. However, it depended on the type of glasses.
Most interesting! Thanks for that and for the ad.

I think you’re right. In fact, I’ve even known of some women who wore eyeglasses with no correction in the lenses because they thought it made them more attractive. So maybe we’ve come full circle. :D Dorcas is vindicated. :db:
