Some very sad and shocking news. A couple of weeks ago, Serge Bromberg of Lobster Films was on trial, facing involuntary manslaughter charges for a nitrate fire that happened in August of 2020 near Paris. Hundreds of nitrate film reels that Bromberg stored in the basement of a residential building ignited during a heat wave, and the blaze killed two people. He has taken full responsibility for the fire and deaths. The prosecutor is aiming for a prison sentence of up to four years and a fine of up to $150,000 for Lobster Films.

I wish my life was a non-stop Hollywood movie show
a fantasy world of celluloid villains and heroes
Because celluloid heroes never feel any pain
and celluloid heroes never really die...
