Anna May Wong to appear in US quarter series
As part of the US Mint's American Women Quarters program, Anna May Wong will be one of the first five women appearing on these quarters minted in 2022. She's the first Asian-American to appear on American currency. I hope I come across one in the wild!

Cool!! Me too!
You trying to tell me you didn't hear that shriek? That was something trying to get out of its premature grave, and I don't want to be here when it does. - Phantom of the Paradise (1974)

Nice! Still haven't found one, but I have my fingers crossed.

What was even nicer was that when I told the customer about it, she seemed genuinely interested! Sometimes when I say things about my interests to customers, they have no idea what I'm talking about.BettyLouSpence wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 2:33 amNice! Be on the lookout! I've a feeling I've come across them before, but didn't look closely enough to notice. This one was shiny, so that's what caught my eye.
Edit: apparently they've only been in circulation since October, so maybe I haven't come across as many as I originally thought!

That's exciting!! I didn't know they made a quarter for her. I will have to be in the lookout. They were just minted last month, so I'm hoping to find a clean one!BettyLouSpence wrote: ↑Thu Feb 23, 2023 10:00 pmI just found three Bessie Coleman quarters! Really cool.
