Nice review!
Re: Live-streamed silent comedies event today!
I'm a little late posting this, but the (now monthly) Watch Party is scheduled for today at 3:00. It promises to be a good one, and will include one of my favorite Alice Guy-Blaché shorts, Matrimony's Speed Limit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GzLEq3jjCfY

Nice! I totally forgot about these events.

Re: Live-streamed silent comedies event today!
By the way, on today's show Steve recommended an interesting YouTube channel with a lot of out-of-the-way rarities. I think a few are silent shorts, but they seem to be principally early sound comedy shorts. Also some other odds and ends. Looks like a lot of interesting stuff there. It's Geno's House of Rare Films.

This month's Silent Comedy Watch Party streamed live on the 18th (Episode 84!), and is still available for viewing.
Here is the link to my favorite film in this episode: The Wrong Mr. Fox from 1916. This one, by the way, was filmed in Jacksonville, Florida.
