I ran across this interesting photo in the new Silent-ology article on the 1915 gangster film Regeneration.

I'll bet that happened a lot! It wouldn't stay on the ground long, I'm sure. What I wonder is how they ever got that mess rigged up. I guess the City of New York must have put all those polls up for them to attach all that stuff to (?)

And was it white day?

Most of it appears to be underwear, long johns and such, and sheets. I don't know what they did with the dark clothes.
