Unbelievable Ads
Re: Unbelievable Ads
Exactly! It's like those things you see shared on Facebook with horrible stories attached to photos of people filled with total lies. I guess it's always happened.
You trying to tell me you didn't hear that shriek? That was something trying to get out of its premature grave, and I don't want to be here when it does. - Phantom of the Paradise (1974)

Wow—who knew? If this weren't backed up by science, I'd be skeptical.

It's a wonder how people can fall for these things. Back then, as even now, people will believe and spend all their money on miracle cures that do nothing.
Behold! Actina, the latest cure-all craze. Here's more info on it. Interesting stuff.

Yeah, some of those are indeed hard to believe. They could run wild with any kinds of claims they wanted before the FDA came into place. The Sears catalogue has a bunch of them, as well.
Re: Unbelievable Ads

That's what's wrong with me, my coffee is out dated! Who knew
I was looking back to see what I have missed and I see what I posted is no longer there, so sorry, I have no idea what happened, I had them in my photobucket. Strange
Ah good old Evertt Evertt Horton Hey might as well have a fresh fag with that fresh coffee up there.
