It's odd, all right, but why do you think it's creepy? I take it this is a waist so narrow that it would fit into a wedding ring. Wait, never mind the question, now I think it's creepy, too.

I'd love to taste an original McDonald's meal. I wonder if it tasted very different? The hamburgers are only 15 cents! Oh, and you know how I love mascots! Speedee is adorable.

Yeah, I love Speedee. :D I think they actually brought Speedee back sometime several years ago. I remember seeing some retro packaging with him on it.

Now I want some french fries. :( And I hardly ever eat them.

Some more MacDonald's prices of the era. Notice how they use an adjective at the beginning of each item.

Yum!!! I rarely eat McDonald's, but I'll have to settle for the pizza coming. Woe is me!

Cheeseburgers 19¢ instead of 20. Hard to believe a single penny ever mattered that much. :)

Here's another bigger look at Speedee.

I looked around a bit to make sure there was such a product after getting fooled by the potato fudge. I found such evidence in the Barre, Vermont Daily Times, August 22, 1919 issue. :D Meanwhile, take a look at the bottom of the Saturday Specials Ad to the left. What does that mean? A quart of dead flies??
