From the Sears catalog: the family that shoots together...
I'd sure hate to be a squirrel in that neighborhood. :?

Are those BB guns? Yikes! Beautiful ad, but strange. Hey, wait! Why doesn't mom have one?!

I know there were many of these.... Still are some cigarette ads in magazines .... But in this one the cigarette is actually talking to you!

That's kind of a strange one. I wonder what the rationale was behind personifying the cigarette??

This reminds me of the tobacco auction Luckies TV commercials. I posted one in the Favorite Commercial thread.

Hmmm. Those people were really shallow in the old days, weren't they???
I wonder if the concoction worked even remotely?

Yeah, I wondered that, too. A tea made of sage (like the culinary herb) and sulphur? And if it did work, it seems people would be using it today, especially with a lot of folks wanting to get away from harsh synthetic chemicals. And also, if it worked, how did it revert your hair to its natural color, no matter what the color was? Hmmm...

See, that's what I've been telling my wife! Guess I need to throw some vitamins in that stocking! (Large economy size).
