That's a beautifully designed ad. Do they still make Lux soap? And I wonder if it was really 98%? It could have been just 96 or 97. Hmmm...

I just looked it up, and they do still make Lux over seas. They are now headquartered in Singapore, and owned by Unilever.
It was probably 97.9%

The big open space, and the rug, I guess. She had a couple cats, too, so maybe that's part of it.

It's funny how small details can resonate with something in your deep subconscious memories, isn't it? I often have the experience where something prompts a little fleeting half-memory which doesn't really register with me fully enough to retain it. (Does that make any sense?)
