Ah, if only they wrote poetry for ads nowadays. On second thought, I'm not sure I'd want to read what kind of poetry would be written now. :?

Maybe the company failed to keep up with newer materials like elastic, nylon, etc.

I noticed they advertised "Mercerized" products, whatever that means. That seems to be a term you see only in older ads.

Well, I just learned something, too. :) I don’t think they do that anymore, do they? I’ve not seen that in any modern-day ads. Or maybe they still actually have that kind of cloth, but just don’t use the term. Anyway, it sounds cool. :)
