Ah, if only they wrote poetry for ads nowadays. On second thought, I'm not sure I'd want to read what kind of poetry would be written now.

Maybe the company failed to keep up with newer materials like elastic, nylon, etc.
I noticed they advertised "Mercerized" products, whatever that means. That seems to be a term you see only in older ads.

Well, I just learned something, too.
I don’t think they do that anymore, do they? I’ve not seen that in any modern-day ads. Or maybe they still actually have that kind of cloth, but just don’t use the term. Anyway, it sounds cool.
