I wonder what the date of that ad is. I'm guessing the '40's or maybe very early '50's, judging from the styles of music being referred to, and from the saxophone having been a particularly important instrument in the big band era.

What I read, it was 40s.

That is cool! How I'd have liked to have one of those. (Actually, I still would. :oops: ) I can see how it would fit a pretty large range of sizes.

I like that kid's cartoon face, too. :D

We made our own box robot out of the cardboard that a vacuum came in. My sister named it Rosie. :lol:
