I saw this on What's My Line and found the ad on the Google. I wonder if it was really as good as they said?

With just 2% egg, I'd say it's doubtful, but who knows? I know egg in shampoo is an old timer, as the ad says.

I had forgotten about this cereal. Apparently it's not made anymore. I think I remember it as tasting pretty good—very crunchy.

It was a thicker flake with a harder crunch, and with kind of a bran-like taste, I think.

Here’s a 1949 Florida vacation ad. I’ll bet this one drummed up some business.

Now I want to try that cereal!!! Sounds delicious.

I wonder what exact year that Florida ad is from. It's from before 1963, when zip codes were introduced. Sure sounds like an amazing place!

The ad is 1949 according to the source I got it from. That looks about right, considering the artwork, clothing styles. Yes, sure sounds like a paradise! :)

Now I’m in the mood for some Product 19, too. :D

This is on the back cover of the June 1913 edition of Motion Picture Story Magazine. I can totally picture myself sending in for these photos.

I thought this could be of interest. This is actually a rather rare ad in Motion Picture Story Magazine (as of July 1913). Most ads published that I have seen are beauty/self betterment ads, books, photoplay writing schools, or solicitations for play scripts. I decided to see if Burlington Watch Company was still in business, and I came up with a brief history of the manufacturer. http://www.pocketwatchrepair.com/histor ... ngton.html
