And the narrator Snowman looks a little different, too. Doesn't he have more of a defined goatee?
Yes!

I don't know who 'elf' is....
That looks somewhat like the head elf, you know the one who's always fretting about the elves underperforming. I don't remember if he has a name.
That guy has a big brown beard! But maybe you're right in saying that it doesn't seem like the artist had an idea what anyone was going to look like yet.

That G on General looks unusual, doesn't it? I don't think I've ever seen it that way.
Wonder what font they used. :)

When you have this one figured out, can you explain it to me? :)

That's a pretty weird one. I didn't even know who that was until I read the fine print!

That Santa is so cute. I think it's funny how they say "gifts for the home". Like the home is an entity that deserves presents.

Another Kodak, this one from 1914.

I must say she doesn't look overly happy with the camera, though, does she? :) And the color scheme of the photo is rather drab, too (though I suspect most of that may be fading, as this is a screenshot of an actual paper ad).

This picture definitely tells a story. it's like she doesn't know anyone is looking in on her, and that she is wondering how in the world to work it.... Perhaps she was expecting an engagement ring but he gave her a camera instead. There are also packages on the table, perhaps for friends or family that didn't come around that year?

A happy 💭 for Christmas.....

Definitely looks like it. "Oh, it's a......camera."

Avon, from 1971. I'm still trying to figure out what all those objects are, or more specifically what they have to do with cosmetics, I guess.

They're decanters to put cologne and perfumes in. They're pretty fancy, aren't they? Did you notice snoopy in a bathtub???
