Here's another one by August Malmström with a Halloweenish feel. There seem to be two forms of this, a light form and a dark one, so I'll post them both. I'm not sure which one is true to the original, or if there were two originals. Which do you prefer?

a fantasy world of celluloid villains and heroes

That one conveys the scene shockingly well! The look on the child's face....

Munch had an interesting style and expressive vision, but all the paintings I've ever seen of his are so dark in nature!

:o That's just hard to believe, isn't it? I've seen some amazing work by photorealist painters, but I don't think I've ever seen one that good!

Isn't it amazing??? Some of them, even if you zoom, don't look like paintings. By the way, nice photo change. :D
