Cereal Ads

How about a new thread specially for cereal? :D

Here's a starter from 1958. I wish they still made shredded wheat in little boxes like that.

Love that idea!

They don't make shredded wheat in little boxes anymore?
When was really little, dad would take me to breakfast, and the place we went to had those little boxes of cereal. I loved them! I remember even being able to cut open the box in a certain way to pour the milk in, no bowl needed. Ah, good memories. Loved those frosted flakes.

Yes, I remember that, too. Those little boxes seemed like a treat. And I remember the dotted lines on the back where you could open it up into a bowl. :) They may still make those, not sure.

Another variety pack ad. Hey, Mikey...! :)
Notice the Western mascot on the Sugar Pops.
Which one would you choose? (Shredded Wheat for me.)

I'd have chosen Frosted Flakes out of those!
