I could be 100% wrong, but I think I saw something like this on antiques roadshow one time!

From an article on homemade TV cabinets in the August 1950. It's amazing how small those screens were. :)

An odd ad juxtaposition from a 1951 issue. Actually, movie ads were quite rare in PS.

A Beech-nut gum ad, featuring New York City. (Why?) I wonder if it was actually flavored with beech nuts, and if not, why they called it that. I also wonder what Beechies were.
