Antique Books
Re: Antique Books
Sounds like a pretty good word. If it wasn't one, it should have been.

An old writing tablet. Not sure of the date; maybe you could estimate it? Wouldn't it be something to run across one of these?

Re: Antique Books
Oh my goodness, I'd simply die if I obtained something like that. Even an old lobby card or anything else with a silent film actor/actress on it!
I personally think this is from the teens. Just. Wow.

I only glanced at two or three. I think the lefthand most of the 1896 ones is especially beautiful.

That's why I love books from the 1800s. They are always the most beautiful ones.

Re: Antique Books
I got nine new old books today!
The first one I am reading is the Harvest Home one. It is from 1891! It is beautiful. It has a few mistakes in it, though, such as, a stanza is missing in a poem (and no pages are missing) and when speaking of the Queen's Jubilee of 1887, it lists Princess William of Prussia in the procession. Nevertheless, this is a fantastic book, and an amazing find at only $20 that I paid. Here are more pictures from the book.
