I thought these full page ads were pretty cool!
Notice the Biograph one has no explanation. It's hard to tell whether they were so pompous that they thought their stories stood for themselves without having to give out actors names, or if they just wanted to spare every expense possible in their filmmaking. What do you think?

Ads to send away for photos of their favorite stars. Oh, how I wish to go back in time to secure these oh-so-cool photos of these forgotten stars.

This was a big help in this magazine. I can actually recognize many by name now because of these ads! :D

I love it!! Just reading that ad made me happy. I think that's what we need today, too, smiles and happiness, even if they are brief and fleeting.
Regarding Mabel, I think she was lovely. I have a friend who looks very similar to Mabel. She was my best friend growing up, and I think of her every time her name is brought up.
