It's wonderful how silver-containing photographic and film media can bring out the highlights with a special glow like that. Baseball gloves sure were small back then. I guess that's a catcher's mitt she has on rather than a glove, because the gloves had separate fingers back in that era, I believe. (And happy belated anniversary, by the way. :D )
