I know you have to be a "certain age" to have even heard of Bill Saluga and his one-joke character Raymond J. Johnson Jr., but for a while in the Seventies he seemed as inescapable as Howard Cosell. Passed away recently at the age of 85.

Oh, yeah, the Ray-Jay guy! I didn't know what his real name was. Wasn't he on some commercials, as well?

Yeah, I think he did commercials for Anheuser-Busch Natural Light or some such beer.
