Robert Osborne has died
Wasn't sure which subforum to post this on. Longtime host of TCM Robert Osborne has died at 84.

Oh my! So sad to hear! I used to love him so much when I had that channel! RIP Robert. You showed me my first silent.
You trying to tell me you didn't hear that shriek? That was something trying to get out of its premature grave, and I don't want to be here when it does. - Phantom of the Paradise (1974)

Oh, man, so sorry to hear that. He was a real treasure for movie buffs with his expertise and personal acquaintance with so many legendary Hollywood figures. RIP.

Oh my goodness. This is a literal shock for me. I associate him so much with TCM... it's going to be so odd knowing he won't be introducing films anymore.

Oh so sorry to hear this. He was such a brilliant, warm man and a walking encyclopedia of knowledge. I always thought he'd be a fun guy to have dinner with, could you imagine being able to pick his brain.
