Robert Osborne has died

Post by dachshundonstilts »

Wasn't sure which subforum to post this on. Longtime host of TCM Robert Osborne has died at 84. :(

Oh my! So sad to hear! I used to love him so much when I had that channel! :( RIP Robert. You showed me my first silent.
You trying to tell me you didn't hear that shriek? That was something trying to get out of its premature grave, and I don't want to be here when it does. - Phantom of the Paradise (1974)

Oh, man, so sorry to hear that. He was a real treasure for movie buffs with his expertise and personal acquaintance with so many legendary Hollywood figures. RIP.

Oh my goodness. This is a literal shock for me. I associate him so much with TCM... it's going to be so odd knowing he won't be introducing films anymore.

Oh so sorry to hear this. He was such a brilliant, warm man and a walking encyclopedia of knowledge. I always thought he'd be a fun guy to have dinner with, could you imagine being able to pick his brain.
