I just found out he died on September 4th! He was 91. He is remembered for his character Major Healy on I Dream of Jeanine. He also was on The Match Game many times, as well as Bob Newhart. I guess I shouldn't feel shocked. He was so old. I feel shocked all the same. 
I remember him best as the airline pilot on The first Bob Newhart Show.
