I enjoyed him so much on The Andy Griffith Show and also on Gomer Pyle, USMC.

I knew the name, but had to look him up to know his face. That's too bad.

I loved Jim Neighbors, loved him as Gomer Pyle, The Andy Griffith Show is still one of my favorites and we watch it regularly.
What a voice Jim had, last night was the 50th Anniversary of The Carol Burnett Show and she talked about him, he was a great friend of hers and appeared regularly on her TV show's first episode every year it was on.
